East of England Show 2006

This year again saw us at the East of England Show. We took our Folk Group, Senior Band and Senior Jazz, and had a really great time. The weather was kind (although the breeze played havoc with the music!), and the audience both at the tea tent and on the main stage were very appreciative. We were the last band to perform on the main stage, but in spite of it being a bit late in the day, quite a lot of people had stayed behind just to see us! Here are a few pictures of us in both locations.

Off go senior band outside the tea tent!

Is Mrs Muller looking for inspiration?

Really getting into the swing now, but we wish the breeze would drop!

A "human music holder" to the rescue!

But who's the cool dude on the trombone? It's Mr Brad Turnbull - it was really great to have him play with us!

Mr T & Matt doing their "we're a couple of swells" routine!

Now we move to the big stage

Matt our drummer on his pedestal!"

We're quite a big band this year - the view from backstage.

But who's this who has pinched the double bass? It is Mr Wright - he was the Kettering Centre Head some years ago.
