Funday 2005

Page 1

This year's Funday followed much the same format as last year. As last year was such a success, why change it!? We had a short "formal" concert in the hall, and then the fun really started. Luckily, like last year, the weather was great, so we didn't have to worry about getting wet. The stalls were open, the chocolate was melting, the bands played, and everyone had a great time. It was a bit sad though, as this was going to be the very last time Mr Turnbull would be conducting some of our bands. Towards the end, complete with teeshirt signed by many people, he blew us away with his saxophone - yes, saxophone playing in "Preacher". He had learnt 4 whole notes specially for the occasion! Not to be outdone, Mrs Muller picked up a trumpet, and dazzled us all with her virtuoso performance! This was the cue for all sorts of instrument swapping to take place. Everyone went away very happy, and judging by how little chocolate was left on the chocolate tombola, very full of chocolate! It really was a great ending to a great year at KMPAC.
