Music Maker

Music Maker classes at Kettering introduce children at an early age to music in an enjoyable and stimulating way that will be sustained later in life.

Music is a natural expression for every child. It helps to develop social skills and co-ordination and pays attention to the emotional development of the child as an individual. Even young  babies respond to pitch and rhythm.

Research undertaken recently has suggested that social and academic development can be enhanced through extra time absorbing music.

Our Music Maker teacher is a specialist who has trained in the principles based on the Kodaly system of early childhood music education. The lessons are enjoyable and fun, using the child's own singing voice and sense of pulse, in a well-structured safe environment.
