Northampton Music Festival 2006 |

| So
- here we are again - its the Northampton Festival of Music again! After our
fantastic triumph last year, can we defend our various titles? We have seen
some big changes in the bands as many of our senior players have now moved on
- many of them can be seen playing in County groups! However, some of our
younger players have stepped into their shoes, and we are again sounding
really good! Three of our bands attended, our Senior Band, our Senior Jazz
Band, and our Senior Orchestra. First on was our Senior Band, who gave a
brilliant account of themselves, and won their class! Next up was Senior
Jazz, who despite an excellent performance were beaten into second place.
Our orchestra played in the afternoon, and came second in their class. They
were very highly commended by the adjudicator, which was very pleasing as
this was the first time our orchestra had performed outside KMPAC. Here are a few pictures of Senior Band and Senior Jazz in action. |
